Dear students and parents of Ivy Global School,
Summer has come with its signature thunderstorms and almost unbearable tropical heat. Your school year has also come to an end and I'm sure you are having the day of your life enjoying such a glorious summer after long periods of covid confinement. Despite being a bit late, IGS's Spring semester will be ending shortly too, so I hope you will continue doing your best so you can be proud of what you have achieved.
IGS has also prepared a fruitful summer with exciting activities for you, and we can't wait to see our wonderful boys and girls having fun and learning at the same time! After all, learning is meant to be fun, isn't it?
It has been a tough year for everyone, and you've definitely outdone yourself. Enjoy your summer and take care!

In response to the reading promotion movement, the "21 Days of Reading Challenge" was launched by IGS on May 19, 2022. Reading skills are critical in the American education system, helping children improve their writing skills, vocabulary, and memory ability. It also allows us to develop our emotional intelligence.
- To participate in the challenge, students can log in to their EPIC e-library account and read books continuously for 21 days from Monday to Friday, at least 20 minutes per day.
Each student is entitled to skip a maximum of 2 days out of 21 days.
- The challenge will take place from May 19 to June 19, 2022. There are many exciting gifts for young readers of IGS. We hope parents and students will enthusiastically participate in this challenge.
On June 5, at Hanoi Centerpoint building, 27 Le Van Luong, the event: "Multicultural Day" took place successfully. The program is designed with many interactive activities hoping that students will have fun participating and learning about indigenous cultures of 5 continents worldwide. In particular, IGS Baccalaureate students participated in this event as coordinators of activities at cultural counters. Let's see how they feel!
The American International School Ivy Global School opens the IGS Global Talent Search 2022 annual scholarship application process exclusively for students from grades 2-9 who are preparing to study abroad or apply for international scholarships.
This scholarship is an opportunity for all students nationwide possessing a solid foundation in English to access the American high school program right in Vietnam.

SEAYOUTH Festival is an annual event jointly organized by NGOs for youth in Southeast Asia. This event acts like a forum where the ASEAN youth can voice their concerns about regional issues. This is a very good opportunity for those who are interested in ASEAN and especially about non-profit activities. You can refer to models, experience or anticipate difficulties. The event provides certificates for attendees.
