A brilliant school year at Ivy Global School has officially come to a close. Looking back on our journey, we are proud to realize that the distance of a digital screen was never a barrier. It was the proactivity, self-discipline, and perseverance of our IGS-ers that drove positive changes for themselves and the community.

This month, Ivy Global School proudly celebrates the story of Quang Anh (Grade 5A3) — a young learner who possesses not only an admirable portfolio of achievements but also a remarkably warm and profound worldview.

Looking at Quang Anh’s profile, one might easily be overwhelmed by his prestigious accolades: placing in the Top 1% of the highest-performing students in the US Exact Path assessment, becoming a national team member for the International Mathematics and Science Olympiad (IMSO 2026) in Indonesia, and securing 7 scholarships from various international schools. However, what sets Quang Anh apart at IGS is not his collection of medals, but rather his organic learning philosophy: “For me, nothing begins with an answer; it always starts with the question 'why'.”

Quang Anh's passion for Science and Biology stems from simple, everyday observations, such as analyzing how an ant colony functions and interacts. While managing dual curriculums from both Vietnam and the United States poses a significant burden for many children, his curiosity and self-discipline have allowed him to transform this academic rigor into an exhilarating adventure.

Driven by a desire to share knowledge, Quang Anh and his family are currently developing a project called Meadow Math. Through this initiative, he hopes to offer his peers an alternative perspective: Mathematics is not merely about dry numbers or rote memorization for exams, but a logical key that helps us decipher and connect with daily life in a much more accessible and relatable way.

When asked for advice for his peers, the fifth-grader offered a highly critical perspective: learn to formulate questions before searching for answers. Grades and awards are merely transient results; the true, long-term value of education lies in the capacity to synthesize knowledge to solve real-world problems.

Quang Anh continues to walk his path with a simple yet profound conviction: “My learning journey begins with small observations, but it always aims toward big questions.” May our young IGS scientist always maintain this spark of curiosity to keep exploring the world and unlock his extraordinary potential!

Học kỳ này tuy ngắn nhưng tràn đầy sự trưởng thành, sáng tạo và những kết nối ý nghĩa 💛

Với 4 buổi sinh hoạt, Câu lạc bộ Hùng biện đã cùng học sinh xây dựng được một số kỹ năng nhỏ, học cách nói rõ ràng và sáng tạo hơn, và thử sức ngoài vùng an toàn của mình ✨

Trong khi đó, Câu lạc bộ Thủ công mang đến màu sắc và sự thư giãn thông qua các buổi sinh hoạt với các hoạt động thực hành như vẽ chân dung tự họa, cây thông Noel, thiệp pop-up, phong bì đỏ và đèn lồng giấy 🎨✂️ Không phải sản phẩm nào cũng hoàn hảo - nhưng điều quan trọng là các IGSers đã học được sự kiên nhẫn, yêu thương bản thân, và tận hưởng thời gian trò chuyện và sáng tạo cùng bạn bè 🌈 Không chỉ vậy, một số IGSers đã đảm nhận vai trò làm người hướng dẫn, hỗ trợ những bạn khác thực hành và âm thầm phát triển kỹ năng lãnh đạo và giao tiếp của mình! 🌟

Ngoài sinh hoạt online, các câu lạc bộ cũng đã tổ chức các gian hàng trực tiếp tại sự kiện Jingle Fest, và quyên góp toàn bộ lợi nhuận cho dự án từ thiện của Hội đồng học sinh - Các con đã sử dụng tiếng nói của mình để hỗ trợ cho một mục đích tốt đẹp 💖

Học kỳ 1 chỉ là sự khởi đầu - với nhiều điều thú vị hơn nữa đang chờ đón các con phía trước! 🚀

Every party must come to an end. The music fades, the lights dim, and people gather their things and slowly head home. What was once filled with laughter, energy, and excitement eventually becomes quiet. Life works much the same way. School year ends, friendships evolve, and dreams reach their final chapters, and even our greatest victories become memories. But true growth never stops. It begins the moment we refuse to lock ourselves in a box, choose to step out of what is familiar, and dare to chase new heights.

For Cristiano Ronaldo, that moment came in 2022.

After Portugal’s World Cup exit, cameras captured one of the greatest athletes of all time walking alone down a tunnel, tears streaming down his face. Around the world, people watched the image spread across their screens. Some saw heartbreak. Others saw the ending of an era. After two decades of dominating world football, many believed Ronaldo had reached the final chapter of his story.

The party was over. Or at least, that’s what everyone thought.

When Ronaldo left European football for Saudi Arabia, criticism followed him everywhere. To many, it looked like a farewell tour - a step away from relevance, a sign that his best days were behind him. Yet while others were mourning the end, Ronaldo was preparing for a new beginning.

Because changemakers understand something most people don’t: just because a chapter ends doesn’t mean the story is finished.

Growth rarely takes place within boundaries of comfort. It begins when we step into uncertainty, leave behind what is familiar, and embrace opportunities whose outcomes we cannot predict. That is precisely what Ronaldo did.

By moving to a new league and adapting to a different culture, he placed himself in an environment where success was far from guaranteed. Questions surrounded his decision, and many doubted whether he could continue competing at the highest level. Yet rather than allowing those doubts to define him, Ronaldo treated this transition as an opportunity to reinvent himself and prove that his journey was not over.

That is what makes his story so compelling. While his achievements, records, and trophies are remarkable, they are not the most valuable lesson he offers. More inspiring is his willingness to embrace change when many believed his best years were behind him. In doing so, he demonstrated that growth is not about holding on to past success, but about having the courage to pursue new challenges.

This year, Ronaldo lifted the first trophy of this new chapter in his career. Beyond the achievement itself, the moment served as a reminder that meaningful progress often begins where certainty ends. The individuals who create change are often those who are willing to start again, even when doing so means stepping into the unknown.

As we enter June, many of us find ourselves at similar turning points. A school year is coming to an end, projects are nearing completion, and familiar routines are beginning to fade. Such moments can feel unsettling, but they also present growth opportunities.

After all, every party will come to an end. What truly matters is not how long the celebration lasts, but whether we are willing to leave it behind and take the first step toward whatever comes next.

Qua những câu chuyện này, các em sẽ nhận ra hòa bình không chỉ là một giấc mơ, đó là thành quả mà chúng ta cùng nhau xây đắp bằng chính đôi tay và trái tim mình. Từ việc giải mã những bí ẩn lịch sử đến hành trình tìm kiếm hy vọng trong những kỷ vật gia đình giản đơn nhất, những cuốn sách này minh chứng rằng: lòng dũng cảm không phân biệt giới tính và sự tử tế không có biên giới.
