Khi nhìn lại chặng đường năm 2024, tôi không khỏi tự hào và biết ơn vì cộng đồng IGS mà chúng ta đã cùng nhau xây dựng. Đây là nơi tràn đầy sự gắn kết, tò mò và sáng tạo – một môi trường mà mỗi cá nhân đều được truyền cảm hứng để phát triển và vươn xa.

Trong suốt năm qua, các IGSers của chúng ta đã thể hiện tinh thần ham học hỏi và khát vọng trưởng thành khi nhiệt tình tham gia vào những hoạt động ý nghĩa. Từ sự thành lập của Hội đồng Học sinh đến các sự kiện như “IGS in My Heart” hay cuộc thi “Dear Santa,” các em không chỉ khám phá sở thích riêng, phát huy sự sáng tạo mà còn rèn luyện những kỹ năng quan trọng cho tương lai. Những hoạt động này phản ánh xu hướng giáo dục hiện đại, nơi sự độc lập, khả năng thích nghi và tinh thần hợp tác được đặt lên hàng đầu, chuẩn bị cho các em sẵn sàng trước những thay đổi của thế giới.

Những thành tựu này sẽ không thể đạt được nếu thiếu sự tận tâm, sáng tạo của đội ngũ thầy cô giáo – những người luôn mang đến những trải nghiệm học tập trực tuyến đầy cảm hứng. Đồng hành cùng đó là sự hỗ trợ hết lòng từ quý phụ huynh – chỗ dựa vững chắc để các em học sinh tự tin vươn tới thành công.

Bước sang năm 2025, chúng ta cùng chia sẻ một tầm nhìn chung về sự đổi mới, phát triển và gắn kết. Mục tiêu của chúng tôi là tiếp tục xây dựng một môi trường thân thiện, truyền cảm hứng, nơi mọi học sinh đều cảm nhận được sự đồng hành và hỗ trợ để đạt được ước mơ của mình. Những sáng kiến sắp tới như Tết Donation Campaign, IGS Culture Day, Summer Camp 2025 và nhiều sự kiện thú vị khác sẽ mở ra những cơ hội để các em khám phá, sáng tạo và tìm thấy ý nghĩa trong từng trải nghiệm.

Hãy cùng nhau biến năm 2025 thành một hành trình đầy những cột mốc đáng nhớ, những thành tựu tự hào và những kỷ niệm không thể quên. Xin cảm ơn vì sự gắn bó và đồng hành của mỗi thành viên trong gia đình IGS. Chúc tất cả một năm mới tràn đầy niềm vui, thành công và cảm hứng!

📚 This month, we're super excited to shine a spotlight on Thai Nha Uyen, a passionate 6th-grader who absolutely loves all things literature! Nha Uyen has been with IGS for three years now, and not only does she have awesome English skills, but she's also a total standout in all our school activities.

🎉 Nha Uyen is a burst of energy and positivity, and she's been involved in so many IGS events over the past two months. She shared, "School activities are so much fun and have given me so many memorable experiences." We love that enthusiasm, Nha Uyen!

📝 One of Nha Uyen's big highlights this month was her fantastic contributions to the IGS Reader’s Wall! She's been sharing heartfelt pieces, recounting her favorite stories and literary works. For Nha Uyen, reading and studying literature is like a magic key that unlocks a world of imagination and new discoveries. It helps her understand people and the world around her more deeply, and it's also a wonderful way for her to express her own feelings.
👩‍👧 Behind Nha Uyen's passion and success is her incredible mom – her constant companion, cheerleader, and motivator who always encourages her to explore and discover. Nha Uyen shared that her mom has always pushed her to excel in her studies, nurturing her curiosity so she can find her own path. Thanks to that amazing support, Nha Uyen is always growing and keeping pace with her friends on her journey to knowledge.
🌱 Nha Uyen’s proud mom shared this when we interviewed her about her daughter's achievements: "I'm so incredibly proud of my child; she has truly worked hard and diligently." This wonderful mom always creates opportunities for Nha Uyen to fully embrace her curiosity, never shying away from letting her learn and experience new things. She’s a huge driving force, helping Nha Uyen develop freely, learn to interact with others, become more confident, and work better in teams. With true humility, Nha Uyen's mom listens, understands, and stands by her side, helping her grow in such a positive environment.

Big congratulations to golfer Nguyễn Tuấn Anh! The Ivy Global School student has officially been crowned champion of the 2025 Vietnam Junior Open – Nam A Bank Cup, held at the prestigious Dalat Palace Golf Club.

Tuấn Anh showcased incredible skill and composure throughout all three rounds, finishing with an impressive -12 total score. This outstanding performance secured him the championship title with a dominant 10-stroke lead over the second-place finisher.

At this year's Vietnam Junior Open, Tuấn Anh not only displayed his strong character but also demonstrated significant growth in his technique and a fierce competitive spirit, maintaining top form throughout the tournament.

The 2025 Vietnam Junior Open attracted hundreds of talented young golfers from 9 different countries and territories. This event is a crucial platform, providing a solid launchpad for young Vietnamese talent to enter professional play. The participation of numerous international athletes also helps elevate the tournament's prestige and offers invaluable experience as these young golfers prepare for larger regional and continental competitions.

The Padlet Readers' Wall: Beyond The Book competition, kicking off our Summer Reading Quest 2025, is absolutely on fire at Ivy Global School! 🔥 With over 280 submissions already rolling in, our Padlet wall is bursting with amazing creative works from our students. ✨

We've seen countless unique ways to express ideas: from awesome drawings 🎨, cool cosplay 🎭, and dramatic video performances 🎬, to thoughtful and insightful essays. Every single submission proves that books aren't just for reading; they're an endless source of inspiration to feel, share, and create! 💡

The competition is still going strong, with the deadline set for the end of July 20, 2025! ⏳ This is your chance to shine and transform book pages into your very own masterpiece. Plus, every valid submission helps you earn IGS dollars 💰, which you can use to buy your favorite prizes directly at the Closing Ceremony! 🎁

With over 70 families enthusiastically participating, Ivy Global School's "Growing Readers Together" Coffee Talk series has successfully concluded, marking the beginning of a meaningful journey focused on fostering a love for reading and strengthening family bonds.

The first session, "Reading Starts at Home," held on June 13, 2025, laid the groundwork. Speakers shared insights on the foundational role families play in building reading habits and offered guidance on setting up creative "home libraries." The "My Dream Reading Nook" activity was a particular hit, giving families a special chance to visualize and share ideas for their ideal reading space, encouraging a passion for books from the simplest things.

Building on that success, the second session, "Nurturing Book Lovers," on June 20, 2025, dove deeper into practical tips for making reading enjoyable and a natural way to connect as a family, especially in our digital age. Families explored easy ways to make books a visible and normal part of daily life, establish a 10-minute daily reading habit, and transform reading into a meaningful shared activity.

Ivy Global School believes that nurturing a love for reading within the family home is the strongest foundation for a child's development. We deeply appreciate the partnership of all the parents who joined us on this journey to create a generation of avid readers!

This past June, the students of Ivy Global School made some unforgettable Sunday mornings at our Reading Picnic events!

On June 22nd in Ho Chi Minh City and June 29th in Hanoi, the Reading Picnic transformed the story "Click, Clack, Moo – Cows That Type" into a lively play. K-5 students didn't just listen to a captivating English book; they became talented "kid actors," embodying characters like the typing cow, the message-delivering duck, and the farmer through confident role-playing, games, and dramatic performances. 🤩

The kids kicked things off with fun vocabulary games, then dove into the story with an expressive reading by our native English teachers. Afterward, they confidently rehearsed and performed on stage. Their joyful smiles, moments of friendship, and cute prizes 🎁 made the Reading Picnic series a huge success, sparking a love for books and developing language skills in our young learners.
