Ms. Quyen and Her Creative Lessons in Class 2B3 

If you ask the students of class 2B3 what makes them love their class, the answer will definitely be 'Ms. Quyen' – the homeroom teacher who also teaches Math and Science! With the ability to turn every lesson into an exciting adventure, she not only imparts knowledge but also inspires her students to explore the world around them in the most unique way.

🖥️ Her 'secret': Learning = Knowledge + Creativity + Laughter! Padlet becomes a platform for idea exchange, home experiments turn each student into a 'junior scientist,' and videos make lessons much more engaging! She is always on the lookout for new ways to keep the class dynamic and captivating.

💬 Her teaching philosophy: Learning is a two-way journey, where both the teacher and students build understanding together. She creates an environment where every student feels confident to contribute, whether through games, discussions, or experimental challenges. For her, the most important thing is to help each student realize their potential in their own way.

🎉 Proud achievements: Not only have there been significant improvements in assignments and presentation skills, but the students of 2B3 are also much more confident now. Ms. Quyen has helped them realize that learning is not just a responsibility, but a great joy.

Last weekend, Ivy Global School officially kicked off the year-end holiday season at the Charity Christmas Village 2024 at the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi. Over two days, the event was filled with vibrant red decorations and the joyful sounds of Christmas music, creating a warm and festive atmosphere full of excitement.

At the event, Ivy Global School brought many exciting and meaningful activities:

🎅 Christmas Trivia Challenge – Trekking in the US
The challenge not only allowed the children to showcase their language skills but also gave them the chance to demonstrate their broad knowledge of mathematics, culture, and many other fascinating subjects.

🎅 IGS Student Council Fundraising Booth
The IGS Student Council, with enthusiastic participation from students in the American Diploma Program, created a unique booth that raised 4,567,000 VND. The profits will be used to fund and support meaningful charitable projects in the near future, helping to bring about positive changes in the community and support those in need.

Ivy Global School would like to express its heartfelt thanks to the event organizers, guests, and especially visitors who visited and supported our booth. We would also like to thank the parents and students for joining us and contributing to the great success of this event.

In the joyful and meaningful atmosphere celebrating Vietnam's Teachers' Day on November 20th, IGS students came together to create a vibrant display at the "Teacher's Day Appreciation Wall". Through heartfelt messages, cherished memories, and warm wishes, the students expressed their deep gratitude toward their teachers.

Each written note, every captured moment, and all the videos shared were a reflection of the love and respect the students have for their teachers. These were moments of warmth, invaluable lessons, and beautiful memories that will remain etched in the hearts of all.

The search for new members of the Student Council has come to an end, and we are excited to welcome 7 outstanding students to the team. Together, they will create meaningful activities and bring more energy and vibrancy to our school.

With their creativity and enthusiasm, we believe they will help the IGS Student Council grow and further establish its role in the school community. Congratulations to all of you for becoming part of the IGS Student Council family!

🎉 Trong tháng 3, sinh IGS đã có cơ hội được tham gia hai buổi trong chuỗi workshop của chương trình "My Borderless Best Friend".

 🌟 Trong buổi workshop đầu tiên, các học viên đã đi sâu vào khái niệm Netiquette (nghi thức Internet), học cách điều hướng thế giới trực tuyến với sự tôn trọng và trách nhiệm.

🌐 Ở workshop thứ hai, các em khám phá thế giới kỳ diệu của tình bạn, khám phá tầm quan trọng của sự đồng cảm, giao tiếp và lòng tốt trong việc thúc đẩy những kết nối có ý nghĩa. 

Trong suốt cả hai buổi học, học sinh được khuyến khích bày tỏ suy nghĩ, chia sẻ câu chuyện cá nhân và suy ngẫm về trải nghiệm của chính mình. 🤔 Thông qua các hoạt động tương tác và thảo luận sôi nổi, những buổi hội thảo này đã tạo ra một môi trường an toàn và hòa nhập, nơi trí tuệ trẻ có thể phát triển. 🌱

Tran Dai Hai, whose English name is Daniel, is currently an 8th grader in the Gifted Program at Ivy Global School.

Last academic year, Ivy Global School was honored to have many students achieve excellent academic results and scholarships. Notably, Dai Hai received a full scholarship for 6 years of study at NUS High School of Mathematics and Science in Singapore. This full scholarship at NUSH is a solid foundation for Dai Hai to gradually pursue his passion of becoming a math teacher.

The festive season is coming soon, bringing warmth and joy to all. It’s the perfect time for us to unwind and spend meaningful moments with our loved ones. Here is the school’s holiday schedule:

2 days off: Tuesday, December 24, and Wednesday, December 25 (US Christmas).

📅 Week of December 30 to January 5:
1 day off: Wednesday, January 1 (US & Vietnam New Year).

We hope this holiday break will be a wonderful opportunity for students to cherish unforgettable moments with family and friends, while also recharging their energy to take on the challenges ahead.
